A little bit about me...

... I am a stay at home mom with two children who inspire me to be a better cook. I love using fresh ingredients, organic when possible, and I like to experiment with different tastes and textures. I try to keep my recipes lower in fat but still tasting great. My favorite hobbies are cooking, photography and blogging so I decided to combine them and create a recipe blog. It has been a wonderful way to organize my recipes and share them at the same time. A big thank you to my amazing husband who helps with some of the photography.





Hello. I just noticed that you changed the layout of your blog. I just wanted to tell you that I thought it was great the way it was before. You have good recipes, and I am sure I can get used to a different look. Thank you.

Well I posted a comment some time ago, telling you how wonderful your recipes are. Today I was searching for a recipe that included fish, but I didn't find any :( Is is that you haven't posted any fish recipe or that I didn't seach well? Thanks for your answer :)

I do have a few fish recipes. Either type fish in my search button (top right side of page) or click on the seafood link. Hope this helps.

First, I just want to express how much I've enjoyed your blog and the recipes you've chosen to share! My kids have been exposed to foods I wouldn't have thought to pair (let alone prepare) and for that I'm grateful!
I have a question; do you mind that I continue to use your recipes and repost (sometimes with modifications) as long as I link you? I've used many and I've started to feel guilty and felt like the only way to remedy that is to go ahead and ask!
My goal for my blog isn't to have a lot of readers but for a collection of recipes I can, one day, put into book form to pass onto my kids. For me it's much easier to have the recipes we've enjoyed in one location rather than trying to keep them organized as bookmarks.
Anyway, thanks again for all the great work you've done!

I couldn't comment on your blueberry crisp for some reason, but it is the perfect balance of ingredients for some of the 10 lbs of blueberries we just picked!
I stumbled onto this blog a couple of weeks ago in search of mediterranean recipes since I'm on a mediterranean diet or as I call it FMP (food modification plan). These recipes you have shown are wonderful, tasty and pretty darn easy to make. Thank you for the recipes you have and the ones you will be putting on here..

Was looking through your "appetizers" section and stumbled upon your unhappiness with "blog scrapers."
I notice that since then, you put your name on your pictures.
Pam, write your blog name in the middle of the food in large, transparent letters. Any photoshopping thief worth their salt could cut your name out of those photos in nothing flat and be on their way without so much as "by your leave."
So sorry that's happening to you. Takes all the fun out, huh?

I love that you use alot of veggies in your recipes and try to keep an eye on fat, for instance like baking many things instead of frying them. I try to use organic whenever possible also, along with whole grains and lower fat with lots of fresh veggies. Making healthy recipes at home for your family is the best!
